Installation Instructions

macOS — DMG

  1. Download the DMG for your chip (Apple Silicon or Intel).
  2. Open the DMG and drag LoopDuck to your Applications folder.
  3. Launch LoopDuck from Applications or Spotlight.
  4. On first launch, right-click and choose Open if macOS shows a security warning (Gatekeeper).

macOS — Homebrew

brew install bemindlabs/loopduck/loopduck

This adds the BemindLabs tap and installs LoopDuck. Run brew upgrade loopduck to update.

Windows

  1. Download the MSI (recommended) or EXE installer.
  2. Run the installer and follow the prompts.
  3. Microsoft WebView2 runtime is installed automatically if not already present.
  4. Launch LoopDuck from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.

Linux

AppImage (universal):

chmod +x LoopDuck_2026.4.6_amd64.AppImage && ./LoopDuck_2026.4.6_amd64.AppImage

Debian / Ubuntu:

sudo dpkg -i LoopDuck_2026.4.6_amd64.deb

Fedora / RHEL:

sudo rpm -i LoopDuck_2026.4.6_x86_64.rpm
